Legal Document Assistants ("LDA") provide an affordable alternative to assist people with their self-help legal needs. In California, it is legal, and permissible, for persons to represent themselves in legal proceedings. As an LDA, we are bonded and registered, and must adhere to strict state guidelines for our profession. Such oversight ensures that our clients can depend on us to provide high quality legal services, at affordable prices.

Since 1987, our California-based company has provided paralegal services to the legal community, and most recently personalized legal document assistance to the general public. As an LDA we help individuals navigate through what is often a complicated and confusing process.

We assist people with lawsuits (Small Claims and Superior Court), estate plans, preparation of contracts and agreements, business formation or dissolution (incorporations, LLCS, etc.), real property transfers, asset searches, and name changes.

We ensure that our clients' legal papers are always properly prepared, filed, and served on time - without the necessity of costly legal fees.

Many of our services are charged on a flat-rate basis rather than billed hourly, so our clients know what their legal fees will be even before the project begins.

We are not attorneys, nor can we offer legal opinions. We can, however, provide expert self-help legal support at our client's specific direction.
